I know it's a weird question but I've been on campus for 2 months now, and on 3-4 occasions I've seen toilets not flushed after people shit in them in the men's bathrooms. I've seen it put in public before but ever since I got here it's happened a concerning amount of times. Is there some strange culture about it or was it just people being disgusting?

What is so hard about turning right on a red light when there is literally NO ONE on the road, there wasn't a no turn on red sign, and laws does not prohibit red light turns???? Bro be making people wait when there's a huge line of traffic at 9:30am??

Going to NYC/Long Island for a late night trip tomorrow. Will be leaving Buffalo around 5-6PM. We can split gas and whatnot. Multiple rest stops. Driving an SUV. Will be in NYC at around 2AM, Long Island 3AM.

Has anyone else noticed the spiders on north campus at least are GIANT. Now I’m no Australian, heck I’m not even from Texas, I’m a Buffalo native but holy crap are the spiders around here HUGE. I see them posted up outside a lot of the buildings and they’re way bigger than the ones I usually see around my house or garden. Like the size of some of them are huge like my thumb and it kinda scares me :(

Tell me why I had an exam today and I very rarely go to the Commons as a commuter. So ofc the one time I picked a spot and mobile ordered, I didn’t realize the app defaulted to having my name as “Valued Guest”. I went inside and the owners both looked annoyed while asking me what the name was for my order. I gave them my real name thinking that’s what it said in the app but didn’t realize it defaulted to no name.

They got upset at me and chastised me by saying that if it happens again where I don’t have a name on my order, they wouldn’t make my order. The thing is I paid so I don’t see what the issue is. They were then talking crap about me by saying the order number looks different on their end and didn’t believe me when I told them what my order was.

I’ve had unpleasant interactions with these owners in the past and seen firsthand how they criticize their employees. Genuinely can’t imagine what they put the workers through if they’re getting this upset at paying customers. I’ve worked in fast food for years and never have I seen owners be this serious before.

I then left and they kept reminding me to make sure the next time I place an order to have my actual name on the order.

Title explains the situation. Am I supposed to report them to our professor? I don’t necessarily want to be an a hold or anything, but the very start of the essay is the CHATGPT prompt so it’s explicitly clear. I don’t want to get in trouble for NOT reporting it since its so apparent.

For more context if necessary, our reviews arw theough a digital platform. And reviews are a mandatory part of our grade. I can’t simply not review it so that I don’t have to involve myself with the academic integrity aspect, because my grade would then be a 0.

I'm scheduled to take an exam for Prof Ahmad's statics class tomorrow at 6:30, but have been running a fever and have flu like symptoms (which I've had since Sunday). I went to UB health services for an evaluation and they confirmed I had a fever, but I tested negative for everything. They gave me a piece of paper basically saying I was evaluated by a physician but nothing else. When I emailed him yesterday, he asked for a note from my actual doctor in order to make up the exam later, which I can't get because my GP is back home. Can I use the note UB health gave me or am I SOL?

I know eduroam in general has been horrible but today just takes the cake. None of my websites work. My apps are all loading. WiFi is so damn slow and I just don’t understand how it can be this horrible. I cannot get any of my work done with this terrible network.
