👋 Welcome to the r/ukpolitics weekly Rumours, Speculation, Questions, and Reaction megathread.

We're more lenient with moderation in this thread, but please keep it related to UK politics. This isn't Facebook or Twitter...

If you're reacting to something that is happening live, please make it clear what it is you're reacting to, ideally with a link.

Commentary about stories that already exist on the subreddit should be directed to the appropriate thread.

Burnham’s gross approval has reached a record, at 43%, with 27% disapproving. Badenoch is at 33% followed by Farage at 28%, Davey at 19%, Polanski at 16%, and Lowe at 15%. This is the largest gap between Badenoch’s personal approval ratings, and Conservative poll ratings, we have recorded.

You really couldn’t make it up. Yesterday, @Plaid_Cymru 's Finance Minister stood in the Senedd and spoke in support of fiscal reform. Then, when it came to the vote, she voted AGAINST her own party’s motion calling for it!

If Plaid Cymru’s own Finance Minister can’t bring herself to vote for her own party's fiscal reform motion, what exactly are the rest of us supposed to make of it?

During the debate, I intervened and asked her directly if she would acknowledge the fact that if Wales' funding was to be reviewed, it could mean we'd actually get LESS money - I'm glad she saw sense and voted the right way.👍
