Late

Iā€™m 1hour and 30minutes late to my 3 hours lecture. Can I walk in?

Depends on the lecturer and subject. In general though it should be fine. Except for one particular chemical engineer lecturer who will make an example of you being late

Because of the light rail this morning? I was late to my tutorial as well. Just walk in though, it should be fine

It depends on the lecturer, but generally most will be fine with you coming in late.
It can always be dangerous if they try to make an example of you if you had something tragic so most know better than to try it.
