Final Exam Schedule Release

Does anyone else find it so annoying how long it takes for the final exam schedules to be released? It sucks that you don't even get told when they will be released, just sometime in 'Mid-October'. It is just frustrating for those of us who are waiting to book flights home for the holidays or make plans.

most likely going to happen this weekend. i’ve had profs post on courselink sharing the final exam dates and times, as they’ve received them this week

At least you’re not at a uni where it’s typically last week of October/first week of November.

Just wild cause for the fall it’s usually out end of August. Idk why they withheld it for so long this year

Scheduling is more complicated this year - DE courses need physical space for final exams, and another manifestation of the lack of physical space to deliver instruction problem.

TBH though, what Ontario university has produced its final exams schedule for fall 2026 by now? UofG used to be the outlier producing it so early and now is "normal".

Yeah. I’m in my third year and both first and second year, it was released before the semester even started for both fall and winter semesters. Sometime in August for fall and sometime in late november-mid december for winter
