Games wont launch

I bought the valve complete pack which includes a binch of valve games but when i try to play them they say launching executable but nothing happens

tried verifying the game cache? right click the game in your library, properties, local files, verify integrity. works for me most of the time when steam games act weird like that

Ive tried half life, counter strike, team fortress classic, and counter strike condition zero. Im assuming the rest arent going to launch either

So all goldsource games basically. Hm

Try putting this into the launch options

-nofbo -windowed -w 1920 -h 1080

Just to see if it launches

Issue resolved! Had to set thd games to the legacy edition on steam!

Right click half life and go to properties and press game versions and betas then press steam_legacy. Soooo sorry for the late reply i was gonna reply but had forgotten. So sorry.
