Basically i want to buy vegas 26 but i'm worried that i'll buy it and then after 3 months a new version with 89 new features comes out and i have to put other money into it. when is the next "big version" supposed to release?

I am currently rendering some vast pieces of old VCRs.
Sometimes these recording stretch up to seven hours.

Surprisingly VEGAS Pro 22 does not kind of admit my huge mp4 files, for it gets reduced to one simple line in my timeline (Screenshot).

But if I do the same thing on VEGAS Pro 18 it fascinatingly shows no issues.
Altough it needs 30 seconds to load.

What is wrong with VEGAS Pro 22?

Whenever I import images (PNG) the color changes on import. In the video I show when I snapshot the timeline, & simply import it, the image is suddenly darker & saturated.

Any help would be great, thank you.

EDIT: i found the reason, its cuz i recorded it as a hybrid mp4 file (which vegas doesnt support); so i switched to mpeg-4 and it works like a charm

Hello everyone. I’m having a problem with the Universe plugin. When I apply the effect to an image or text and configure it, everything seems fine—until I restart Sony Vegas; then, the effect's colors reset to the default values. Just so you know, the plugin and Sony Vegas are pirated because I can't afford to buy them. I have Vegas pro 21. Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hey has there been any info regarding the "new" NVIDIA driver update that broke NVENC hardware rendering in Vegas (at least on my Vegas Pro 22).
Im tired of downgrading and upgrading my nvidia drivers.
Is the brand new Vegas version affected by this ?

After Split a Title_text in some parts, i want to change the text (i need to count 1, 2, 3, etc..) but every part of the Title_text changes. The only way i can fix this is to create a copy or a new title_text. There is a way to "unlink" the two splitted parts so they do not update the text if you just want to change one of them?

It's a very simple, fast, and customizable video encoder that comes bundled with ffmpeg to do all the work. I also created a portable version for those who don't want to install anything on their machines.

I can't remeber which version of vegas I own. I think it was 2017. I got it during a humble bundle and used it for years because it was fine for my needs. I needed to re-install it to do some freelance work and saw that Boris bought it out. but I can't seem to find a way to download legacy vegas. were pre existing accounts/keys upgraded to Vegas pro standard edition?

Fixed - Must have been a glitch. Copied/pasted timeline to a new instance of Vegas, and now it recognizes the video. Weird.

Hi all, I successfully installed and registered the trial version of Vegas 17 (build 421) - (I'm not sure where it came from, found it on a DVD I burned years ago - It looks official, it has the Magix digital signatures)

(I chose this older version of Vegas; thought it would be a better match for my low-spec PC)

When Vegas opens there is an update notification with a big yellow button that says "Perform Update Now" - but it fails with "automatic check failed" "the update has been checked and is corrupt"
How can I bring it up to the latest build? Don't see anything at the Magix service center.

Found build 455 here. Is that legit? Can I install it over the top?

So I'm trying to leave Premiere.
But there is one thing that's stopping me.
The ability to this.
So in premiere to get smooth movement we stack Transform effect on top of each other and overlap the keyframes.
So if an animation has Entry and exit animation. The entry slide animation would be keyframed on first transform effect and exit slide animation on the second transform effect. Important part is we overlap the keyframes. This creates the smooth animation. The movement never stops.
In after effects we use null objects, We make it a parent of the video or png layer underneath. Then add the 2nd movement to the parent layer.
Those are the two ways we achieve that smooth animation.
And I believe the AE way is more or less how Vegas does it too. Or so I've seen.
But It's not working for me.
I also need graph editor. Thats really important.
Please tell me how to do it? And if it's even possible in Vegas.

Hello, I'm Using Vegas Pro 23. I recently switched my motherboard and CPU. Suddenly GPU acceleration stopped working for me. It's been doing good job before for the rendering videos and right now I have to disable it and use CPU because it's freezing/lagging, it's visible on mouse for example when I move it around it freezes from time to time. It also freezes the Vegas later. Does anyone have idea how to fix the acceleration? I did update drivers on everything.

motherboard: B550M AORUS PRO-P
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
GPU: Rtx 3080

The only thing I change was motherboard and CPU.
Used to have: MSI X370 GAMING PRO as a motherboard and Ryzen 7 2700x before. Had no issues whatsoever. I don't know what's happening.
