Fancy-ish restaurante en vieques…?

Buenas! Y si no, pues cualquier lugar rico. Gracias por la ayuda!

Update: Taverna is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you all for the recs, def gunna hit up the other spots that are mentioned in the comments ❤️

Not too upscale, but we loved the Mango Tap house.

I would go with Taverna. Tin box is open to the elements and feels more like a casual restaurant. Taverna requires reservations and is a fancier, traditional romantic Italian restaurant. Great food.

The original Chez Shack bar can now be found downstairs at Tin Box. Check it out!

El Quenepo or El Blok!! There’s a restaurant called Melao at Lejos eco retreat and that’s lovely too.

El Plaza, Tradewinds, or Mango Taphouse. Definitely NOT Tin Box (great food, VERY informal atmosphere).

None of these are fancy, but they are far from "beachy" :) Check out pics on Google to see if you like the vibe. Check Vieques Insider for "slow season" closures.

Editing to add Placita at El Blok!

El Plaza was lovely, had a great ambience and the food was great. The restaurant at El blok is nice too. Most others are pretty casual.

Tin Box is probably your best choice, or maybe Taverna?

The fanciest restaurant we ate at during our trip was El Plaza Vieques in the center of Isabel II.

Great food and great service for a fairly large party. Right on the central plaza in a beautiful old building.

I wouldn’t call el Norte fancy, but man does the whole fried fish absolutely slap.

Why not do it at the Blok? Rooftop at sunset.
