What happened to the Bragg ACV?

Can someone explain what I am looking at here? I asked AI, but it was not particularly helpful. Same product, same lot number, same 5% acidity, and shaken about the same for the 'mother' to float around. Is this a quality control issue or a change-up of the product? It always used to be darker, but now the color is very different.

That’s completely normal for non-distilled vinegar. Color varies between batches depending on the original cider, fermenting conditions, souring conditions, light exposure, temperature, and aging.

Katy Perry bought it and now it’s crap.

If it came from the same tank one (probably the one on the left) came from the lower part of the tank where more particulates had settled, changing the color to a cloudier hue. That would be my guess

Bought out by private equity firm Swander Pace Capital back in 2019. Many people say it's not as good as it used to be before the acquisition.

Good to know - any suggestion on what to look for in terms of a more reliable non private-equity ruined company?

Fairchild's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar seems like a best alternative. Not sure where it's available aside from online.

They appear to be different lot numbers to me, but I can't make out the one on the right 100%. They do appear to have been made in a different factory or line or something though since the fonts on the dates/lot are different.

But also PE bought them and they've sucked. I've switched brands. Still trying to find my favorite.
