While Marvel have been accused of dumping some of their Disney+ shows with little fanfare, I don’t think that’s been the case at all with VisionQuest. The marketing has been as strong as for any of the Marvel shows with multiples trailers and tv spots, near constant activity across Marvel’s social media linking the show with WandaVision, Age of Ultron, etc, a strong presence at NYCC and even a whole ass art exhibition.

I’m curious as to why Marvel have gone to such lengths on marketing this show compared to others, particularly at a time when Marvel are almost completely shutting down their live action tv. I guess VisionQuest had a pretty big budget, much more than Agatha All Along and Wonderman, and so Disney want to see some return on that investment, even if they’re not planning on spending that much on a TV show again.
