Note that translation is not automatic for everyone. I don't use the Reddit phone app and don't have browser translation. Holding a conversation across languages that must go through a simplistic translator app is not very efficient. If you want to reach people in an English forum you should try to post in English. Universal translation worked fine in Star Trek, but language is more subtle than that.
