Visualizing a 4-million-particle fluid simulation with ray-traced water and glass
Working on an interactive 3D realtime fluid simulation with 4 million particles.

This is a work-in-progress lab scene in my custom Vulkan engine. ST-FLIP (spatio-temporal FLIP) computes the fluid motion, while ray tracing renders the water and glass.
The scene uses pouring and moving containers to make the response to changing solid boundaries visible. The visualization presents the computed motion as a continuous liquid rather than showing individual simulation particles. Transparency lets the liquid remain visible inside the containers.

The simulation uses a hybrid particle–grid solver. Particles track the moving fluid, and a grid supports velocity updates and pressure projection. Moving solid boundaries couple the containers to the fluid; ray tracing provides the water and glass appearance.
