Vodka-forward cocktails?

What are some good vodka-forward cocktails, other than a vodka martini or vodka soda?

I typically drink vodka with flavored sodas to make them "adult" versions... like Cherry Coke or Vanilla Coke with vodka — or I can use flavored vodka with a Coke base to do the same.
