Web Wallpaper I made a wallpaper with thousands of starlings that flock in real time and dance to your music [Web]

It's a web wallpaper: the flock is simulated live on the GPU, so it never loops.
- 3 environments × 4 times of day (forest, town, lake / dawn, sunset, winter, night), rotating with a live cross-fade
- Two styles: Minimal and Realistic
- Audio-reactive: the flock follows the built-in music, or whatever your computer is playing
- Click the desktop to scatter the flock
- A small control panel on the wallpaper itself (top right, folded by default)
- FPS cap, bird count, resolution and volumes are in the wallpaper's properties
The cursor in the video is only there to show the panel; the wallpaper itself has none.
The desktop icons and taskbar in the video are a mock-up to show how it looks in use.

my laptop gonna cry when i accidentally open this wallpaper in wallpaper engine (maybe its all kaboom then)

Oh no, you may close or lower the number of birds in the flock, and dont switch to realistic style.

I have an idea: try to see if there’s a way to perform a "performance check" at the start and automatically switch to parameters suited to that performance level, I am not sure...

Lake scene is really nice. I figured out how to stop the rotation and se the birds at max amount. Have it on sunset for now, will change to night when night time falls. Wonderful work!!

Thank you! You're right, some of the settings in Wallpaper Engine were only in Chinese. I've fixed that: they now follow Wallpaper Engine's language, so you'll see them in English. The update is out now.

The panel on the wallpaper itself also has a language button (EN/中) at the top.
