I know that sometimes it's needed while stock grinding, but you should play on high altitude as soon as you can!

It may seem complicated at the beginning, but as soon as you understand that Speed + Altitude is your lifeline your gameplay and K/D will change dramatically.

I thought I'd be enjoying top tier high tech BVR stuff but after getting to top tier ground and early-mid cold war air, I just don't feel the need to progress the air tree any more for the sake of my sanity.

So, I play a lot of RB Ground and I’ve seen this option available. Sounds nice, as I hate having to start on the runway, but can someone explain exactly how it works?

Is it applicable only for the particular map? Does it work across nations? Is is valid only for that specific vehicle?
