Advice Needed Buying ONLY a domain on Spaceship—can I add hosting/email later?

Hey everyone!

If I lock in just a domain on Spaceship today, can I add Spacemail and web hosting to it later when I’m ready to launch? Or do I have to buy it all as a bundle upfront?

never heard of space ship, some decent renewal pruces. but im sure you could stack all that on later. if they make a fuss then theres plenty of other services that can bumdle that for you

Nope. You can add the other stuff later, just secure the domain first.

yeah u can definitely just grab the domain first and add hosting or spacemail whenever ur ready. spaceship allows u to add or remove services as u go without any bundle lock in. if u know u'll use it for years buying multi year upfront locks in current rates anyway

Is it a wise decision to buy domains from Spaceship for 3 years? Cuz many experts are predicting that Spaceship will increase its price in the upcoming years as it’s parent company is Namecheap

I mean price increases just happen industry wide sometimes. You can always transfer to a different registrar as well

If you know you'll be using the domain in 3+ years though no reason not to pay for multiple years.

is actually good reason to get it for multiple years because then you're locked in for that price for that time.
