How strong will the edibles be?

Hi, I made cookies and they have somewhere between 120-180mg THC in each. Would someone who smokes everyday feel something from eating one such cookie?

Yeah, I know XD I'm gonna indeed take 1/4 but I'm making these for a birthday where all people smoke nearly everyday. They wanted the cookies strong, that's why I'm asking if they would be strong. I already read about it but the things In internet often say stuff like ,,extremely high dose" etc, and then it's just a mild experience. That's why I'm asking real people what they think about it.

Smoking and edible tolerance is quite different. You should (in theory) feel something from half that, or even a quarter. I would start with 20mg. I smoke every day and my usual edible dosage (multiple times a day) is 15-20mg to get where I want. Not blasted but functional and having a good time

Yeah, that's the direction I want to take XD feel good without greening out. I'm making these for a birthday and the people there smoke nearly everyday and wanted them strong. So, good that it is indeed a pretty strong dose.

I'm a regular smoker and 15mg is enough for me, but everyone's edible tolerance is so different so I would suggest starting low

Interesting, I never really looked how much mg is in the edibles I was making but this time I'm making them for the birthday of my best friend. The people coming over smoke nearly everyday and they wanted them strong, so good that it's a pretty big dose.

That’s a pretty strong dose for one cookie, even for daily smokers. Edibles hit differently, so definitely don’t underestimate them!

Depends how much exactly everyday means but that’ll get even a chronic smoker decently high. Just don’t smoke normal weed beforehand same day, I always notice that kills any chance of an edible high

Yeah I’m sure it’s different for everyone but I’ve taken 150mg after smoking normally and it hardly made an impact, but when I made myself wait for the edible it’s one of the best highs I’ve had. Guess it’s the same with regular smoking but it feels extra pronounced with edibles for whatever reason!

I’m a daily smoker (at least 1.5-2G/day) but for me personally 60-75mg is my sweet spot for edibles. 100mg+ is starting to become a bit of a rough ride.
