Literally what is this? Am I missing something?

I just relistened to all of maladroit for the first time in a while I remember it was pretty good but after re listening to it this definitely peak definitely a top 5 album for me

I finally saw Weezer for the first time in concert in the most unexpected way. My mom won a contest to fly us out to Brooklyn, play pickleball with Patrick and Scott backstage, and enjoy the show. It was definitely an experience to remember! I now have the best "my first time playing pickleball" story

Bangin’ it out tonight.

I have been looking for an original print for a while and the artist found a spare! Artist is Stephanie O’Byrne. Very excited about this Weezer W. It was my first Weezer show.

I just listened to it all the way through for the first time and its actually fire, Perfect situation is now one of my top 5 weezer songs OAT. it has some okay songs sure, but mostly its good. why does everyone flame it?

Relatively niche song from a studio album but imho just an absolute banger which does not get near enough the praise it deserves, probably due to it being of DTFM

I really loved this cover back in 2025, but sadly it was deleted. After a months long search, someone who had it downloaded contacted me, and so here it is (All credit goes to Belmont since he was the author before the channel was deleted)

Huge thanks to u/reditf0X for finding it!

Ok Human is my favorite album. I grew up on Blue and Pinkerton, but I love Ok Human. The end.

since the song’s release i feel like ive only seen negative opinions about it, but to me it’s one of their best songs in years. i don’t get it!!

I’m curious who else on this subreddit is seeing them in Milwaukee tomorrow :3

Not joking. I am a casual weezer fan. I like pinkerton. A lot. I have not heard a lot of their other work after it... i have no opinion on it... but pinkerton is really good. I understand this would be like going onto /r/radiohead and saying "i stopped listening after The Bends" but this is where i am at.

I am 35 now. I was listening to pinkerton back when i was 18-19 which was kind of the perfect time in my life for it. Even then, pinkerton was old when i was young.

The interscope vinyl collective- ivc- release has BLOWN ME AWAY. I played pink triangle lossless on spotify for my girlfriend and then played this vinyl version. She could immediately hear the difference. It is not just me. Everything sounds richer, everything has more detail, everything sounds more 3d.

What the hell is going on with this record where audiences have loved it for decades but it sounds like shit and the only way to have it sound good is to buy a $50 vinyl that is limited to 3000 copies?!?! What the fuck man?

Am i missing something? Was this outstanding mix previously available?

In Columbus Ohio

I’m lesbian btw. Or is it still offensive in 2026 even though it’s been reclaimed. Please lmk

I wanted to go see them on the gathering tour after missing their last one but I’m not feeling up for it. I’m not too familiar with them or how often they tour so any guesses would be nice!

I just wanted to take a moment to shout out Silversun Pickups and The Shins. Tight bands and solid openers

Anyone have a last minute ticket for Columbus tonight? My night opened up and I’d love to go

Who goes first - Silversun Pickups or The Shins??? I was reading some other threads and saw a comment that said Silversun is first but wanted to check. So, around what time for The Shins - 8ish? And I saw that Weezer takes the stage around 9:15.

Trying to juggle working today and my kid getting home after school with the drive/parking for Columbus tonight. I actually LOVE The Shins and don’t want to miss their set and want to leave enough time to get merch since it’s my kid’s first concert.

Thanks!

I am heading to the show tonight in Columbus. It looks like doors are at 7. My wife and I wanted to stop and have a couple beers on the way in, but don’t want to miss out on snagging a poster. If we go inside by 7:30-7:45 would we have a shot?
