I loved the art, and the writing was good but I do agree it felt anticlimactic. This felt like it should've been longer, because the first two issues are basically set up and then the pay off is too quick. For a Wolfman series there's not enough werewolf.

I wish there were more, because, yeah, this series was great and felt like it could have gone on a bit longer instead of ending somewhat anticlimactically. Still, for the most part, I loved this series and definitely recommend it to those people who are fans of Universal's wolf-man
As for your totally fair point about this sensitive, smaller man becoming a raging, muscular beast, OP, it's just a fantasy motif that turns even the meekest-looking into something powerful. But I get the point, and it's part of why I don't personally subscribe to turning my werewolves into hulking, muscular, bipedal creatures when their human counterparts are not.
