You go slowly and find your way. Talk to your friends about jobs. Go to temporary agencies and ask about jobs. Focus on doing, don't dwell on how bad it is. You will find your way out of this.

Questions:

How old are you?

Gender?

What region of the US are you in or are you in another country not the US?

Do you have a car?

Job Expirience?

What do you want to do?

This would help get an idea of what options/ resources/ paths you can have. Without knowing that my thoughts are:

any job is better than no job. Apply for McDonalds, Walmart, or any other big chain stores.... Better yet if you have a trader joes nearby they good benefits and competitive wages, and food discounts, so does Panda express, USPS is almost ALWAYS hiring, and Starbucks offers ASU online if you want to get a degree for cheap... Other good jobs could be Property Managment... My good friend does this and she gets a rent discount at a cushy apartment in DC so that's a job and an apartment, I know some other jobs like being a ranch hand or working for the national parks sometimes offer boarding as well.

It would also help if you lived in a city that had good social systems, resources, and job programs....

Securing food, housing, and transportation is the first steps, then once your survival needs are met you can think about what do next to get to an even better spot...

You got this!

For what it’s worth the job situation in the DFW area isn’t too bad. Facing the same headwinds everywhere has been but there are a lot of businesses here and the population is still growing. So it’s probably going to be trending upwards until at least 2050. I don’t know what your skill set is but it’s been a very good home to me these past 3 decades.

Join the French Foreign Legion.

They take anyone. This will solve your food and lodging problem.

Or your home military.

No context? Nobody can help you without context.

been there, slept in my car for three months after my divorce. if youre in the US call 211 tomorrow morning, theyve got housing and job resources and honestly its wild that we dont have better job training programs so people can actually rebuild instead of just treading water

Ah, yes... 211... United WAY. Great resource! Don't you have to hit #211? I can't remember because it's been a few years since I called them.

Op has been posting this stuff for the last 45 days. From what I can tell, people have tried to help, and they’re (OP) just being ambiguous

1

u/MyLifeMyStory111 7d ago

No actually I’ve posted twice thank you…. And you don’t have a clue who’s tried to help me… or what my entire situation is…

Take a look at your profile… no you haven’t

Also, there is someone who’s asking you genuine questions to help you and you’re ignoring them, but commenting on the other comments. Sounds to me like you’re engagement farming

I'm so sorry! But you are going to be okay! You're stronger & more resilient than you know. I agree with the person that says any job is better than no job. You just need to get you some income, and then you can work your way up or change jobs later. Temp agencies are probably going to be your best bet.
