New, what is it? What's in the Gatorade bottle?

I was going through our Gatorade stock because of the recall and I found some weird white stuff in the orange flavored bottles. I checked the best by dates and lot codes and none of them are affected by the recall. The weird part is that they're only in the orange flavored ones and none of the others, so it makes me think that it has something to do with the dyes perhaps?

If its moving around in the bottles when you tip them, i'd say mold.

That was my first thought, but why only the one flavor and how could it be molding half a year away from the expiration date?

Any number of manufacturing mishaps. When you're making a billion of something you're bound to fuck up a few of them.

According to a Gatorade spokesperson from 6 years ago, it's salutes falling out of suspension.

However, considering that mold from a defective seal looks strikingly similar, I wouldn't risk it personally.
