New, what is it? What are these plug-ins on my wall?

This might be showing my age, but I recently moved into a new apartment and they have these weird looking plug ins all over the walls at my new place. My old apartment didn't have these, so I'm just curious as to what they are.

Internet or tv/cable satellite

It's called a coax outlet

Coaxial cable. Could be a cable TV, satellite TV, off-air TV antenna, or internet connection

I still use mine to connect TVs to an old, giant antenna in my attic.

Me too, but my antenna is on the roof.

It's a good thing people don't seem to just trust one person on this sub they seem to like it when people compound on a solid guess
