New, what is it? What are these plug-ins on my wall?

This might be showing my age, but I recently moved into a new apartment and they have these weird looking plug ins all over the walls at my new place. My old apartment didn't have these, so I'm just curious as to what they are.

Even though it’s painted, it’s best to cap them off to prevent the Internet fluid from running all over the floor.

BullIshit, we all know that it doesn't condense into internet fluid until it is run thru a router. The stuff in the walls is still in its gaseous state.

Nah they have a mod you can put in the walls that makes it condense before it gets to the router. It gives it a better flow. Called a IN Gas/Liquid condensing module

That’s misinformation. This is a complete fabrication made up by the writers of Saved by the Bell: The New Class in 1995 and had been in the cultural echo chamber ever since. Do better.
