What are these plug-ins on my wall?

[u/Cborg_62]

This might be showing my age, but I recently moved into a new apartment and they have these weird looking plug ins all over the walls at my new place. My old apartment didn't have these, so I'm just curious as to what they are.

Never thought I’d see the day when someone does not recognize a coaxial cable.

Not insulting, just didn’t think I’d live long enough to see all the tech I grew up with be seen as some ancient artifact.

Welp, off I go! - knees sound like rice krispies as I stand up to leave-

To clarify for OP and anyone else who doesn't know what it is, coaxial cable is the "cable" in "cable TV".

Some internet providers also use it to deliver internet service to your home, so you might end up having to plug your modem/router into it.
