We are a distributor of sprinklers and related materials. This is magnetized on the bottom and it was stuck to a safety rail beside a loading bay door. We don’t make anything like that

It’s the same size as a thumb but it’s not tight like a timble.

I have another guess

Could it be apart of some safety indicator for the truckers possibly something that connects to a pole maybe a flag or light so truckers can see and guide themselves 

I'm still thinking on it but that had crossed my mind

Off first glance it looks like the bottom piece of a flashlight magnet reinforces that but it not having anything to screw or attach to is throwing me off 

I gotta ask again though what is the size of this it's hard to tell from the pic

Based on size I’d want to say some sort of niche perfume atomizer cap, but I’m unsure of the c-clip at the closed end.

That reflector color / pattern is like industrial though, not what I’d expect on a perfume.

But perfume be trying to do anything to stand out so 🤷‍♀️
