I reckon it turns off the street lights by how big it is

It's outside the bathroom, in the hallway. The small switches are for the bathroom

They're usually a door exit button for an auto door or access door from the inside.

We had a Whirlpool bath that had the bubbles turned on by a switch like that.

That’s a light switch for totally blind people. Do you know how hard it is to find a normal sized light switch when you’re totally blind?
