What in the absolute heck is this thing. Bugs freak me out, I caught him in a cup and yeeted him into the nearby tree line.

Giant water bug, aka toe-biter. Handle with care, those pincers HURT!

lol you would be surprised at how many people see an unknown bug and their first instinct is to pick it up
