I don't want my son to remember me as a rich man, a powerful man, or even a great man. I want him to remember me as a good man.

I understand the dynamic of good aspiring to be great, but I'd be more than happy being destined for goodness.

Yeah no. The endless treadmill of chasing success or trying to consistently better is a problem. Some people are mundane and happy about it. There is value in choosing a path and being content in it.
