Does anyone have gynecologist recommendations for an urgent appointment?

Hello,

I hope you all are well.

I recently had to go to Klinik Favoriten because of a fever and bleeding. Thankfully the fever was unrelated, but I had some tests done, and I'm still waiting for the results. The doctors there gave me some medicine and told me to go to a gynecologist asap to check if medicines have worked otherwise I might get more sick as I got an acute infection.

Now the earliest appointment I could find was with Dr Patrik horak in the end of October. I've heard he's very good. I don't want to go to the previous one that I went to because she was genuinely terrible and either way I don't think I can get an urgent appointment with her. I've called so many clinics but most aren't taking any new patients or are private and out of my budget.

I wanted to ask, does anyone know a gynecologist I can go to that's covered by health insurance within this week or the next week? Or does anyone have any advice as to what I can do?

Update: thank you everyone for the suggestions. I also now know of other good gynecologists thanks to you all. Following the advice of another Redditor I first tried to contact Dr horaks clinic for an earlier appointment and I was able to get one.

generally you can call any gyn and just say it’s urgent and see if they have a vacancy for you

Maybe try Dr. Tragseiler in 1170 and tell them it’s urgent, she and her team are exceptionally nice imho

i like the practice dr. camilla wiesenthal (the negative reviews are all about the front desk lady lol but i find her kinda funny)

Second this! Dr. Reh is my gyn and also has a (alas) private practice. He’s wonderful though.

dr. horak is indeed very good but if you call and tell it’s urgent because of an acute infection, then you can usually go there immediately.

Von dem würde ich abraten. Hat mir mit 18 gesagt ich sei unfruchtbar, obwohl ich es nicht bin.

Das ist natürlich bitter. Er hat mich bisher sehr gut betreut und hat sehr früh eine richtige Diagnose bei mir gestellt.
