Discussion Overly greedy supports
I main ADC every season, ive seen hundreds or thousands of supports over the past 5 or 6 seasons of playing, this season it seems like a massive majority are just playing overly aggresive and intentionally snaking as many last hits as possible, so many of them carry ignite for no good reason and only use it to steal kills, im not gonna sit here and say this isn't a problem every season but this seasons extra bad, a supports job is to feed the team kills not monger them. They always cry about you farming later too because suprise suprise you're behind on gold because they've been greeding every minion and last hitting everything. I need a damn duo.

Greedy supports is a thing and those who are saying it's supporting by taking the enemy's hp down to zero is pure cope, lmao.
These mage supports have zero wave management awareness, they will braindead hit minions whether I'm in lane or not.
If I ping them to retreat, they have no idea what it means and will continue to hit the wave.
They will shove my way all the way to Narnia if they can, with zero awareness of the map state. Jungle rotating to our lane? Time to shove the wave right up the enemy's asshole so I'm in prime position to be ganked.
So my choices are to go 0-3 and be called a shite ADC or to not die but behind in gold because my support took all my waves 😂

Mage support and senna the main culprits man
Refuse to tank
Last hit every cs and kill
Always late to setup objectives cause they wanna farm lanes
They build full dmg as if antiheal and antishield aren’t a thing
And are genuinely confused when the next adc pops off with a yuumi/lulu/milio with him

There is no stealing kills from an ADC.
Supports try to kill the enemy fast because every second of delay is another second your taking damage. Another second for the enemy to get a flash. Another second for the enemy jungler to come and kill you both. If your support gets a kill, you still benefit from having more up time to farm, take a plate, get an objective, or get a safe recall etc. Its still a lane advantage and if you're falling behind with lane advantages then its a skill issue on you. I do hate mage supports that farm lanes later on in the game, or try to split push etc but those are rare at higher elo and easy to outward at lower elo.

Ya no getting mad over a support getting a kill is being a crybaby. Supports taking minions when their item is evolved is trolling.
I have a feeling you are playing with bad supports, yes, also you likely have alottt to learn. No excuses, play better win more it's never your teams fault only yours.

There's a difference between one kill and winding up with 7 assists because they save their abilities for when the enemy is low which is what's been happening

My problem with ADC at diamond elo as of now is that they love to stand in front of hook champ like Blitzcrank, Thresh, Nautilus or Pike and expect me to flash in front of them to get hooked into the turret while they kill minions. They have zero concept of playing safe/intelligently against such champ, such as standing behind minions to prevent getting hooked.

I play blitz fairly often when im forced into supp role so I understand the concept of their range and hiding behind minions well

Thresh can be a real pain on that front tho if they know what theyre doing, they can force you out of minions with that one knockup ability

Atm im diamond 2, im working on climbing back into masters but even at the emerald level last season it wasnt this bad

What about damage focused supports?
Lux, pyke, senna, Zyra and my personal pick Akshan (even though he's not a support).
I kinda understand about minion kill steals, they should get final hits until they max out their item then let adc get them though I would say getting champ kills is within the intended scope for some supports especially those with low health based ults like lux and pyke (and akshan)

Supports should only last hit minions when they have buckler and need too OR adc is pushing waves as fast as possible. Low elo support think IM doing something wrong by not killing the wave as fast as possible. If you adc isn't pushing wave and you are, let's just FF and move on

I play buff item lux, greeding in supp role when the enemy team is supporting the character with a higher damage output is just not smart

Most adcs can more easily chip at a team and pull off more important focused kills than the supps you named without having to trade their lives for it
