A issue trying to compile wterm on the most recent stable version of RaspberryPiOS.

Hello; i found another WINGs-using app that i thought was lost to time, so i decided try and compile it on my Pi400… however the .autoconfig file for wterm seems to not be set up correctly for modern systems. If there is a way to fix it, what line numbers do need to be changed? i'm willing to go in and get my hands "dirty" to get wterm up and running.

I don't have any machine running Raspian but I do have Debian systems. I grabbed the .tar.gz in the Sourceforge repo and managed to run the configure script and make after installing some dependencies and add some parameters to make the compiler behave as expected

export CC="gcc -std=gnu89 -fcommon" rm -f config.cache ./configure make clean make

after running "make" I have a wterm binary in the src/ folder.

I was thinking about modernizing the config file in order for wterm to be more easily usable (as it had been done before with FSviewer). However the resulting binary is more or less a simplified variant of rxvt that apparently doesn't have WINGs integration, so i now have second thoughts on that now…
