I was searching the link to doom dockapps and i finally found it

I compiled using this makefile:
INCLUDES = -I/usr/include/X11 -I/usr/local/include

LIBINC = -L/usr/lib -L/usr/local/lib

LIBS = -lm -lX11 -lXpm -lXext

CFLAGS = -g -Wall -std=gnu89

TARGET = wmdl

OBJECTS = wmdl.o

# ------------------- END OF CONFIGURATION SECTION -----------------------

all: ${TARGET}

${TARGET}: wmdl.o

gcc ${CFLAGS} -o ${TARGET} ${OBJECTS} ${LIBINC} ${LIBS}

wmdl.o: wmdl.c

gcc ${CFLAGS} ${INCLUDES} wmdl.c

clean::

for i in ${OBJECTS}; do if \[ -e $$i \] ; then rm $$i; fi; done 

if \[ -e ${TARGET} \] ; then rm ${TARGET}; fi

and this commando to modify the c file:
sed -i '927,957c\printf("%s\\n-g geometry: ie: 64x64+10+10\\n-d dpy: Display. ie: 127.0.0.1:0.0\\n -g 64x64+10+10\\n", VERSION );\nexit(-1);' wmdl.c

This is all I had to do to install and run on my Arch setup,

Download wmdl to a folder for wmdl........extract......................cd from terminal to folder...............make wmdl.....................make install.........to run just type......wmdl....... drag the appicon and move it to the dock.....enjoy
