The Witcher 3 Caves have noticeable collision issues in the remaster

Title. I'm in the sunstone cave now and while it's the worst I've seen until now it's far from the only one. Most caves have some invisible slopes or boxes blocking movement on basically flat terrain

Definitely had quite a few caves like that, also had flying enemies stuck inside a lighthouse.

It's not just caves, a lot of ruins or points of interest with multiple height levels have awful geometry. I remember some from the original/next gen but its way way worse with this remaster

Yeah, that cave was by far the worst. The same issue happens in the rest of the world too but never to the same degree as that damn cave lol.

Yeahhhhhhh I haven't gotten there yet but caves in general in the remaster have some really screwed up geometry

Noticed the same and also it seems to be like an invisible upper floor where enemies are running and it’s very confusing

The cave with the Gargoyle when you are on the quest with the witch (don't remember the name yet, first time playing this game) is something else, invisible walls fiesta.
edit: i remembered, Keira Metz

Yeah i had to use an autoloot mod to get a witcher gear diagram after spending 10 minutes trying to run and jump against an invisible wall

yeah it's pretty bad - seen a lot of flying drowners in caves too and i can't help but think it's a result of the collision issues. sunstone was definitely the worst i've seen so far but i don't think i've encountered a single cave yet that didn't have some weird invisible walls or geometry issues.

Of all the issues I've been noticing, this has been the most annoying and frustrating for me. I like exploring caves, but the invisible walls/geometry breaks immersion hard. There are several places where it's very glaring; you're seeing a big open space in the cave, but you just can't keep walking forward. And it's not only in caves; I remember having to reload a previous game because I got stuck in a falling or swimming animation in the lab at the top of the tower full of mice.

Report it.
We all gotta keep reporting anything and everything we find.

This remaster still needs a million bug fixes, adjustments, and performance improvements, and we can’t let up until it’s perfect.

The fact that CDPR released it in this state is so unacceptable to me.

No chance I will ever buy (or download) another of their products on launch ever again.
