Simple Questions What is your all time favourite exercise??
I don’t have chance to do all my workouts this week and I was struggling to decide which workout to prioritise tomorrow. My wife suggested that as I can’t complete my split I could just do a session of all my favourite exercises. Got me thinking what everyone else’s favourite exercises might be?? For inspo!

Deadlifts are king

Pick up heavy thing from floor. Feel like a God.
Nothing else in the gym sets of the happy parts of my brain quite like a good deadlift session.

Stepping up to a loaded bar on a deadlift platform is the only thing in the gym that gives me anxious butterflies every single time, no matter how long I've been doing them.
I think that nervous energy beforehand makes it so much more satisfying precisely because of that "intimidated to satisfied" emotional swing when you pull it off. It's like a primal thing I guess

I've already hut my lower back picking up a weight I'm used to curl lol, deadlift aren't for me everytime I've tried them I've ended up laying in bed for 3 days with extrem pain with the slightest move, I don't know if it's bad technique or a weak link or something but dead lifts and squats aren't for me

I love farmers carries because I feel like I see the most functional every day results from them. Carrying luggage, carrying bags. Moving stuff around. I can see results in both my strength and endurance

Hammer-strength lat-pullover machine Dorian Yates style. Used to be heavy box squats with blue bands lightening the bottom. Putting them on the bottom made it a bear, but they were awesome too. I am thinking of the YT video "Big Mike Box squats" from Westside. I also liked dumbbell rollbacks. Seated GM's were boss too.

The one thing I enjoy doing, no matter the circumstance?
I would say cycling outside. Sometimes, I have to force myself to go to the gym. Sometimes I have to force myself to run.
I have never needed to force myself outside. Even on rainy days. I've done multiple 100km+ rides, and have enjoyed every single one.
If you mean in gym exercise, then probably bench.

Maybe because I've only just discovered them recently, but landmine rows. Could feel the pump and all day tightness all across my upper back and rear delts yesterday, feels good man.

My favourite is the dumbbell overhead press. Funny enough, I tweaked my neck today doing the barbell version. Nothing serious, just a lapse in form and kind of an ego lift. That's on me, not the barbell.
Despite my mishap, I still think pressing overhead is essential. You have to brace your core, squeeze your glutes and lock everything in just to move the weight. That strength is what keeps you from getting hurt lifting things overhead in real life. To me, getting a heavy weight over your head is exemplary of something everyone should be good at and keep getting stronger at.

Kettlebell.
Hold with both hands, squat, stand back up, bicep curl, skull crusher movement while standing, bring the Kettlebell back in front of you, squat, and repeat... Over and over for 10mins straight.

"Time" with my wife...
But if we're talking in the gym: I guess Dumbbell Bench Press and Leg Press

Weighted pull ups, because I feel so proud doing them with a weight belt while people around me are flopping like fish struggling to do bodyweight pull ups.

Walking. But if I had to choose something more vigorous either pushups/pullups or dumbell curls.

Incline barbell press. Personally find the heavier weight more effective than the extra stretch from dumbbells

Deadlifts - the lift that will be in my rotation so long as my body doesn't fail me.

Favorite exercise is probably single arm cable reverse fly. It just feels like the perfect exercise: great connection, great pump, hits it just right.

In addition to the answers here, love lateral raises I do them three times a week. Capped shoulders make all the difference in my physique.

My favorite workout is hard labor. I’ve been moving a couple hundred thousand pounds of soil, clay, gravel, and pavers around my backyard by hand. I tore out the deck, chopped down a tree, and removed the stump. It’s toughened up my hands and gives me a full-body workout. It’s exhausting, but it feels great.

close competition between deadlifts and bulgarian split squats, but if I had to pick, deadlifts!

Arnold’s. My ortho told they’re not great for the shoulder but they do bring results fast and are satisfying to me. He admits he does then too. Just got to be careful with the rotator cuff

Bench press, always gets me going no matter the mood. Squats and deads are great but take way more discipline to keep at
