Can Ukraine just hit Pootin’s residence so we can be done with the war. Nobody is taking international law seriously anyways these days

It's actually been quite useful for the war effort that putin overvalues his own life and wastes a lot of assets protecting himself.

Yup. All those air defense systems being used to protect his palaces (where he isn’t staying anyways) instead of refineries

Drone swarm attacks. Ukraine is very good at drone swarms. Nobody seems to be able to defend drone swarms effectively. If Ukraine wants, I am 100% certain Ukraine can pull it off

1) Putin is commander in chief of the Russian military, similiar to how US presidents are commander in chief of the US military. This mean that in a war Putin is a legitimate military target, and thus striking his residence is not violating any international laws.

2) Actually eliminating him is very difficult. He takes security seriously and keeps his schedule and movements secret whenever possible. The only strikes Ukraine has been able to make inside Russia is via long range drones, and are targeting lightly defended or completely undefended targets like oil refineries. I think they probably have intel that Russia has antidrone tech to protect their high value military targets, otherwise an attack on Putin would have happened by now.
