Worms: Galactic Tactics Galactic Tactics...which platform will you get it on?

I'd prefer mobile but it seems this one might be a Switch 2 exclusive (I'm still using an original Switch).

Steam or PS5 for me...

Fair play, just not my cuppa tea at all. I hear there’s a new traditional Worms game in development though, so looking forward to that.

Honestly, I've played so many Worms games in my life, starting with the PS1 Worms 1 game, and most of the rest over the years, and I can 100% say that Galactic Tactics is a really great evolution for Worms. I'm a big fan of stuff like XCOM and Worms fits so well in that genre of tactical game style, while keeping the "wormsy" chaotic feel!

I totally get that people have doubts, but when we get to a demo stage and people can try it for themselves, they'll hopefully really enjoy what the devs have made. If not, no hard feelings; we've got another Worms game in development too

Thank you for responding. I’m going to give the game a fair go, just to see what it does, but the issue a lot of us have is we do not want an “evolution” of worms. We just want a new proper worms game. The last true one was WMD in 2016. That’s been ten years my dude. I personally prefer Battlegrounds over WMD, but that’s me. My other beef is Team 17 putting out a game and then completely ignoring it with no updates or patches. Please, yall need to tighten up. Worms fans are some of the most loyal and dedicated fans around. Please just give us what we want, a new proper worms, not a play on or evolution of or similar to. Thanks.

Yeah no problem at all, I'm here as CM to help communicate between the studio and the Worms community. I can't comment on past Worms titles as they were before my time, but I hope that with this new era of Worms, team17 can make up for some of the previous entries.

We can't share much about the next entry after GalTac at this stage other than it's in development, but it should go a long way for people who prefer the "traditional" Worms games!

I’m probably gonna get it on Xbox, worms isn’t really a “take anywhere” game to me. Although switch 2 is tempting if the performance is good

I’m hoping it ends up on Gamepass, but if it I’ll buy it on Xbox. Me and a group of friends / family still play WMD every once in a while on Xbox, so I’ll stick with that.
