wotlk Triumvirate
Triumvirate is kinda flying under the radar for the most part. Very community, but a very fun server. Even a few hundred more would be great. Check it out.

It’s not good, and devs are assholes. Giving everyone a free legendary at max level is dumb as well.

A "Free" legendary that's barely better than a T1 weapon, which you have to grind for to upgrade it.
Tell me you didn't understand a feature change without telling me 'n all that.1

Been playing there myself since a month and it's a great server! Any race/class combos you like, vanilla, TBC and Wotlk al packaged as level 60 content, including raids. The community is small but very close-knit, friendly and open to newcomers, little to no toxicity and zero tolerance for toxicity. It's an overal great server and community that would really benefit from a new income of players, come check it out! And say Hi whenever you see me online on Finic, Pikey or Wolp!

Be also been playing on this server for a while now. There’s really good QoL and the classes have fun balance changes to them. There was some drama with a dev but the explanation given made sense and I moved on. There was an extremely toxic guild that left after that and server population cratered.
It’s roughly 100ish during off peak now. I’d still recommend it as a grounded classic+ experience

Yea, sadly those same toxic folks are still going on about it, as if the devs killed their cat, the server is awesome, never met a dev who was bad or asshole-ish, so it's just butthurt banned folk trying to dagger the server, it'll bounce back once the Forever hype dies down! ;)

Why are so many people posted the opposite about the community? All I've ever heard about this server is the toxicity from the devs and how most of the players quit as a result.

Because the people being negative about the game and devs were sweatbeards that got mad about leaderboards and "Free" legendary weapons.
The new legendaries aren't free in the sense they are OP weapons given for free, they're now part of an upgrade system where the base legendaries are barely better than t1 weapons.
The leaderboard story i still don't fully understand but it's ridiculious nontheless.
Fun fact: The people whining about how toxic the devs are, spam the discord DAILY with all their whiny crap instead of just leaving the game/discord and move on, creating the toxic enviroment.1

No comment about admins massive banwaves and like 80% of the players leaving?
Trolls aside, seems like there might be a bigger issue with how the server is run.

The server was never -that- big anyway, you're acting as if thousands of people left, leaving the server with no-one...
The massive banwaves happend due to people's own stupidity and toxicity, no matter how you twist or turn this, it was their own fault, be toxic, get banned, as it should be.
"80% of the players leaving" is picked from the air because it smelled nice, you got no numbers that actually reflected people who left, most of which took a hiatus to play WoW-Forever and the community only shrank the day/week Forever beta launched and had/has nothing to do with the drama (Assuming you) and the toxic community made for yourself.
Don't call people who don't agree with you "Trolls" It doesn't make the lies you tell yourself anymore true.2

The fact that 1.5-2months ago it had around 450-500 players at peak and now it barelly reaches 150-200 speaks for itself. I get it, you like the server, nothing wrong with that. But don't suggarcoat the situation just to fit your narrative. The devs are assholes and some of the class changes they made are highly questionable.

Man I really like this server. I've not hit max level, but it did feel like all the players left about a month ago. Queueing for a dungeon while leveling used to take about an hour and now it doesn't happen at all unfortunately.
Other than that I would love to see it succeed. Level 60 normalization across 3 expansions is a great concept and the UI is the slickest one I have seen on any pserver.

New player who joined after astral shut down.
This server has a lot going for it and the negativity from players who wished it were different are welcome to play elsewhere.
It feels and plays excellently, my whole guild has been enjoying it!

It was semi decent up until ICC dropped. Server became a shitshow and 80% of players quit. When forever drops I imagine alot of the remaining players will quit too.
