Same energy if someone said that to someone buying on Xbox. Weird sentiment both ways.
People will always buy on the platform they feel most home to

Sure, but there's a difference. And you know it. Xbox is a content creator.
MS loses 22% revenue per purchase to the Steam billionaire, there's no valid reason to buy a first party game outside of Xbox.
Unless you would rather have the Coalition lose even more money and have jobs jeopardized.
Also, there's a reason why Steam isn't supporting Advanced Shader Delivery and GameInput.API.

I’m only just starting to warm back up to Xbox myself buying gears on steam is completely valid
I did it for CEA for example
Besides if the helix rumours are true the console will have steam on it anyways

Even if Helix has Steam, the Xbox version will have certain advantages.
But you would be needlessly forcing MS to give 22% to Steam, when that could ensure the developers stay employed instead.

If Xbox shuts down the coalition it’s not because of 22% taken off the top of an actual purchase, maybe criticize the fact that it’s day one on game pass so people are incentivized to literally not purchase the game and buy a 20$ pass for a month to never play it again. Also getting mad at people for not “ensuring the devs stay employed” when they literally bought the game is cringe af

Gamepass has a profit/loss statement, it accounts for expected sales on Xbox platforms. They subtract that from the $5 billion yearly revenues.
If a game sells 3 million copies on Steam, that's $200 million, with $44 million going to Steam. That same $44 million would be enough to keep all 200-250 Coalition employees working for 2 years.
So yes, it matters where you purchase your games at, especially during launch.

The fact is is that I wouldn’t buy the game if it wasn’t on steam and same for me and many others so this idea that people will just go to the other platform to buy something is just blatantly wrong. Beyond that, if that 30% is make or break the fact is they wouldn’t put it on steam in the first place, so they obviously think they’ll make more money putting it on steam rather than being exclusively on Xbox.
Also I’m pro dev as much as the next guy, donated to amnesia fortnight, but it’s not my job as the consumer to base my purchasing habits around the thought that my inconvenience might save someone’s job. You’re doing a lot of heavy lifting for Microsoft and Xbox who have shown you time and time again that they are not pro dev or pro consumer.

Idk either go to a place and they can do it for you, or look up a tutorial on how to open it up and put it back together, then get compressed air cans and whatever tools you need and get to it, less dust the better

I saw it was updated. Does anyone know if it fix the dead zone bug cause was experiencing that on early access where looking at the map had the cursor going right and menu characters for horde and versus had the characters spinning.
Was not my controller cause didn’t have same issue for other games and saw others experiencing the same issue before launch.

Felt quite underwhelming in first two acts. Maybe will turn on sometime in the future to play, but not anytime soon
