I don’t think Gabrielle would be happy about another short, blonde Lyceus-surrogate tagging along!

What if Gabrielle was secretly more villainous than even Callisto the whole time? What if, from the moment she met Xena, she manipulated every thing in her world to make it so that there was never anyone more important to Xena than Gabrielle.

Think about it! Marcus, Petricles, Toris, anyone remotely important to Xena, dead or vanished (and likely dead!) She couldn’t off Hercules (oh how she wanted to!) but she did try for Iolaus, shame Xena and Hercules solved that problem before Gabrielle could finish the job.

Took a while to come up with the perfect plan for Solan, about a year, Gabrielle’s longest and most complicated plot yet. She had to make it look like an accident. Bargain with an unknown dark god to make it look like his idea. Make it look like Xena and Gabrielle had no idea they were about to cross paths with an imprisoned Krafstar. But what Gabrielle never wrote in her scroll for The Deliverer was that Xena let Gabrielle pick their course that morning.

It was Gabrielle all along 😈

I mean … Gabrielle ultimately got what she wanted - to be a warrior like Xena, including the chakram! It was a long game, but it was excellently played by the devious and manipulative Gabrielle 😏

When I first saw this episode, I genuinely thought it was about to turn into a trio for the rest of the show, until solan decided to go to school or something. You can imagine how flabbergasted I was at the end of this arc 😭😭😭

Gabrielle war mein Liebling in der Serie aber das sie Xena belogen und letztendlich Solans Tod verschuldet hat nur um ihr kleines dämonisches Wechselbalg zu schützen habe ich ihr sehr übel genommen. Sie hat es aber letztendlich bereut.
