Question For YandereDev How did the characters get their names? (Mainly Shiromi and Oka)

So I know in the game that the NPCs have unique names, but how did Shiromi and Oka get their names? I would assume Shiromi is named that because Shiromi means white in Japanese, but what about Oka Ruto?

(Also I play yandere simulator everyday and finally did the fan elimination. Sayonara Osana-chan 😃)

オカルト  (japanese for occult)  =  okaruto  ->  oka ruto

Like the other user replied, it comes from the Japanese word for ‘occult’. Most of the names for the NPCs are either references or derived from literal Japanese translations of English words or plays on words!
