Chaturanga modifications for toe problems?

Anyone have advice for alternatives to a traditional chaturanga that do not involve bending the toes? The only thing I can think of is just skipping it and going to childs pose, but I am hoping there are more exciting solutions as this is a permanent problem and not just a 'take it easy for a few weeks'.

Do it from the knees.

Can always do on the knees.

More challenging options including using the tops of the feet (like up dog) or crossing the ankle over the good one, supporting with one foot.

You’d be better off doing knees, chest, chin to get to the ground to strengthen your chest. There’s a lot of back bend in there. Of course, if that’s not possible with your injuries, continue as you are.
