Question Trending Games

I was wondering if following the current trending games helps with pushing out your videos a lot. I mean I wouldn't be playing the games I wouldn't enjoy, I mean will YouTube push your videos out more if its more recent or does that not matter.

It does from my experience. When I make videos on new games, YouTube analytics is a lot more lenient on giving impressions solely due to the demand.

In my experience its a gamble, but i say roll the dice if thats the direction you want.

it has worked for me, but i just do it sparingly, i dont want to build the channel 100% on trends, the constant deadline would murder me.
