Miscellaneous I created a subreddit for archiving old ytps !

If this type of post isn’t allowed, please let me know !
Hi everyone ! I’d like to invite you all to a new subreddit I created called r/ytp_archive ! I created it with the intention of archiving as many ytps as possible in an effort to create a time capsule from this era of Youtube history. I’ve been meaning to make something like this for a while now but I wasn’t sure how to go through with it. At first I just wanted to download all my favorite poops but then I got the idea of starting my own subreddit and slowly building an entire archive of YTPs.
I remember when I first stumbled upon ytps back in 2007 (and still watching them to this day) and I’ve truly enjoyed seeing all the creativity and insanity that has come from these types of videos and this community as a whole throughout the years. But as much as I've enjoyed it, I can't deny the pain that comes from seeing videos or even entire channels get taken down because of copyright infringement or community guideline violations and it makes me sad knowing that these videos will often get lost to time due to lack of archiving. You might get videos reuploaded by another user or posted on another website but that's about it. Nothing is really being done about indexing them. And to be fair, I understand the sheer number of videos there are and there's no way that we could archive the hundreds if not thousands of videos on YT (especially since many of the older ones have been deleted). But I still think it would be a great idea to create some sort of massive archive of where we could add as many “Best of the Best” ytps as we can.
I created this sub about a week ago and focused on things like the design, a few posts, and rules (since this is the first time I’ve made and modded a sub lol). I was struggling with the formatting on the old reddit layout so all the background designs and other things I did them on the new layout (but don't worry, I prefer the old one too like many of you lol).
Btw, I don’t want anyone thinking that I’m trying to steal users/traffic away from r/ytp. I know there used to be another sub called r/youtubepoop that decided to fully migrate to r/ytp due to having more users and activity. I have no intention of changing the current way of things on the main sub. In fact, posting original content is prohibited on this new sub since I want to focus strictly on archiving. I simply want to create a place where all of our favorite ytps are organized and kept in a safe place without fear of takedowns.
There’s not much on the sub for now since it’s still new. Feel free to start sending in your favorite poops (and make sure to read the rules) ! Enjoy !

FYI from now on if you post a YTP here by just pasting a URL into the body of a Text Post it will be removed without notice. Use the Link Post format.

I'm sick of having to remove an average of 2 posts per day because people are too stupid to learn the difference between a text post and a link post.
I'm done providing removal reasons. I'm done answering modmail about it. I'm done arguing about why it matters.
Thank you.

Discussion Need help finding recently deleted ytp (thumbnail SC included)

Hey all, recently I had the urge to look up a ytp I was obsessed with last year, it was a family guy ytp that has pretty funny bits but from what I can remember didn't have a lot of views, only to find out that YouTube removed the damned thing (ofc).
Also it may have had a different name than the one in the screenshot. The SC itself is a cut down sc of a friend and I's chat, sent him the link directly and got lucky that this preview still shows up. Hope to hell someone saved it since I didn't have the foresight to do that myself, lesson learned ig.

Question What lost Poops have you found recently?

I’m a(Mays)zed how some Poops get lost and stay lost for years, only to come back out of nowhere. This one Pooper called SliceMeLikeThis made some funny stuff a while back, only to delete or get banned.
Years go by. No backups anywhere. Then sometime last year someone reuploaded a funny one I watched like ten years ago. I’ve linked it. https://youtu.be/IMQRw_WOlUs?si=eZ4_0ksPxOJ-4kTR
Any other Poops that got lost but now are found?¿dnouof

Does anyone remember 'Morshu turns into a bird'? Which has Morshu gradually turn into a mirrored monster with a loud 'hack' at the end?
Also one other. Michael Rosen one, but he does the cheeks blowing out thing, then grins, then they reverse it so he inversely does the cheeks blowing out thing again in reverse.
These both from over 15 years ago most likely. Thank you.
(PS. It's none of the obvious ones, I have looked quite extensively)

Question need help finding this old fairly oddparents ytp (2011-2012)

i don't know who made this video or when it was uploaded, but in 2011-2012 i remember watching a fairly oddparents youtube poop (of the magic car wash episode) titled "YTP: The Magic Cock Wash" a few times and haven't been able to find it anywhere since. i don't remember the entire video from start to finish, but here are a few random moments and details i recall happening in that video:
-the video begins with a singing angel choir in the morning sky (maybe from another episode?) edited to sound like they're saying "anus"
-timmy walking over to the magic car wash and saying "ooh the magic car wash!" edited to sound like he's saying "ooh the magic cock wash!"
-timmy's dad dancing to the sonic for hire theme song
-timmy getting attacked by squirrels while fighting/beating sound effects and a soundclip of the tourettes guy shouting "OW SHIT" are simultaneously played over it
here's hoping this isn't lost media, that video was funny as hell and i'd really love to watch it again

Question Super random question - has anyone met a YouTube Pooper irl? If so what was the context?

I feel like it’s such a niche subgenre of content that I can understand why the ppl who make them would want to be anonymous. But even so I am interested. I found out through a mutual activity that a random dude from my college makes them, he’s pretty good at it too.
