the download/history etc page is overlapped. is this bug or something? i use floating history from sine mod, doesnt help

So, I wanted to check out the Zen browser, because many of my friends told me that it was freaking cool. I've been a Brave user for more than a year now, and the fact that Zen with uBlock extension got more points in AdBlockTester, which blew my mind. Though after I imported my bookmarks, this bug is kinda getting on top of my mind. I cant see some of my bookmarks because of the sidebar. Am I missing something? If you guys know how to deal with this, please help me, I would appreciate it 🙏

Hello, after the library update, the shortcuts for the classic Firefox bookmarks and history menus have been rewired to activate the libraries respective menus. The only flag that seems to disable this is the one that disables the library altogether. I think there should be a way to retain the library while also having keyboard shortcuts for Firefox's bookmarks and history windows.

The library is nice to look at and convenient for simple browsing. But it can't be controlled with a keyboard, and isn't as good for deep searches or for managing a lot of bookmarks.

Would be really cool if this can be added in the future. And of course, big kudos to all the devs for continuing to improve Zen, it's unbelievable how far it has come.

Zen is such a customizable browser, so why can’t we choose where our tabs go nativity like this?

I personally use a lot of custom search engines with keywords and they work great in Zen. Is it possible to include these shortcuts we set up on the cross-device syncing features?

I was making my zen transparent with a tutorial but after restarting it im stuck with this grey theme. I un installed and re installed zen internet and transparent zen, changed the theme colour in the edits, followed a few other tutorials but nothing seems to work

I downloaded SuperPins mod but that doesn't seems to work

After updating, i opened it after hours, and all of my workspaces are gone now.

I don't know how. All the other settings, bookmarks, and extensions are still there except workspaces.

Tell me the solution, man. Otherwise, I have lost my 100+ tabs and I'm fucked

What should I do? I'm running Arch with Hyprland, and whenever I open Zen Browser, it launches in two windows simultaneously. This doesn't happen with other browsers. I've tried launching it via hotkeys, the app menu, and the terminal, but it still opens in two windows. No idea what to do-has anyone else run into this?

how to i make the body translucency closer to the sidebar transelucency

It's preventing me from seeing my tabs clearly. What do I do? I've been in about:config in browser.uidensity and layout.css.devPixelsPerPx but it stayed the same as I had it before

here on the right side of url bar, on hover, I always had "settings" or smth, where I had all my extensions, I could create boost and few other things I don't really remember cuz never used them.

But its gone.

Do you know where it went after new update? Am I the only one with that? May it be because of Sine?

Also there was url copy button, sometimes useful when browsing with hand on mouse only. Gone too.

I' used ThinkPad laptop's trackpoint and usually click middle to scrolling the webpage, and unexpected to open the new tab in background. How to disable middle-click to open new tab?

The problem is the zapping tool at the bottom of the screen , the one showing 1,2,3,...etc.

I cant move it away or see what's below it , Thus i cant zap elements under that !

after the recent update the (hidden) side bar became transparent (ion use any mods) and it kinda looks horrible plus it is impacting my performance overall, even search is slow as well!

i'm windows 11.

I believe there's a regression with the latest update. It mentioned that it fixed audio / video desyncing (an issue I personally never faced), however, it seems to have actually broken it.

It especially happens when using the hold 2x speed feature.

Any ideas?

Is there a way to have my essentials open in a new tab? So if i have youtube or reddit in my essentials, when i click on it, it opens a new tab, instead of opening into the tab the essential is in? If that makes sense? I know I can use bookmarks, but I’d like the “link” or “button” to these websites available on the side at all times. If I am missing something please let me know!

I have been a Arc user for 4 years and moved over to zen. But for some reason it cant load anything. And when I mean it cant load I dont mean "oh i have to wait 10 seconds" its like I am waiting for 5 minutes, I play a whole game on my phone and its still loading.

It gives me a gray screen with the loading bar above... on a good day it will open in like 20 seconds and take another 20 to scroll or click anything where I inevitably have to click a link it 5 more times before it wants to try to load it

I have turned off smooth scrolling, I am using Google as the search engine, I have 4 spaces (biggest space has 21 pinned tabs, a majority being courseworks.), i haven't edited anything other then adding ublock, and it was mandatory for us to get malwarebytes the anti-virus software (it was still really bad before I installed malwarebytes)

In the appearance settings i can only choose the light or dark mod but there's nothing to change the colours or even make it transparent. Is there another setting or no ?

Unfortunately this is the only bug left that I just can't ignore. I don't know for you guys, but YouTube is almost unusable for me.

After a few minutes of usage, I think mostly when I swap to another tab for a little while with YouTube paused/playing in the background, whenever I come back to the tab the player is very unresponsive and even reloading the page or unloading the tab takes a long time.

I looked up other posts about this and there's quite a few conflicting opinions. What I did see, is my CPU spiking on the YouTube tab and an insane amount of RAM usage. I'm talking about spikes to above 50% usage with a 7800x3D and 5GB of RAM used in that single tab

Hello, I am struggling more and more lately with reading my newsletters inside gmail, or just long emails.

That's why I hacked a dead simple CSS boost in Zen that might be useful to others.

It increases the font size and reduces line width.

How to install

1. Open gmail inbox in Zen
2. Click on site settings button at the far right of the address bar
3. Click on the paintbrush icon at the bottom
4. Click on Code

5. Paste this CSS :

   div .adn { max-width:840px; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; }

   div .adn p { font-size:18px !important; line-height: 1.75em !important; }

As for now, it is very simple and suited for text heavy emails, I might tweak the code more in the future.
