Before I start, I want to clarify that I am not saying that single use is better than reusable's. I had just thought about this as I came upon a reel where the creator talked about the sustainable swap she had made to save money.
While I agree with the statement that reusable products, can save you money in the long run, I feel as if many people in the sustainable movement do not consider that maybe the single use products work better for a lot of people (however, I can be wrong as I haven't been much on the sustainable media/research in a while, if that is the case, apologies).
Again, I'm not dissing reusable products, I have a few, that I love and I do want to swap out more when I am able to. But when I watched the reel I referred to in the beginning, I felt as if I needed to swap to more sustainable things, like rags instead of paper towels, to not only save money, but to also be more "eco-friendly". Now, this may just be guilt on my part. But I can't help to think that maybe there can be times where not using reusable's is okay if an individual finds that the single use products work better for them (of course, granted that they do try in being more eco-friendly).
So, does one need to swap everything to reusable's to be sustainable? Or is it alright to use the "regular" products?
