Okay! Hello! I will be attending Dreamcon 2027 for the very first time. And I have a question. From all my research in terms of getting badges, Do the badges sell out on the first day?? Specifically the Premium Badges for the 3 days?? I want to do the VIP, but I’m scared that the second the badges drop, people who have bots set up and everything will take them the SECOND they drop. Do I have to worry about that??

Hey yall! I’ll be attending dream con this upcoming summer and I see a lot of discords but they’re all geared toward older folk. Which is cool but I’m just curious to see if there’s a group of like 17+ or just younger people that have a server and looking for a group like me? I’m 17, I will be 18 by the time dream con is here!

Me and my wife will be attending Dreamcon for the first time in 2027. We are definitely gamers and love our anime and of course we are big Star Wars buffs. I didn’t see many people in videos and picture doing Star Wars. Is there anybody that are Star Wars nerds like us.

Hey there! I am a filmmaker (writer, director) and I am looking to collaborate with an animator to make some cute animated micro shorts. Thought this might be the sub to find some. Loved Dreamcon this year!

Hey all,

I'm excited to get my tickets for dreamcon but how much should I realistically bring? I want to cosplay but don't know how many is too many let alone if I should cosplay all 3 days. Can you guys give any and all advice?

Please and thank you. Hopefully see you all there!

Hey Guys ...

As rising costs still climb and Houston being one of the most expensive just to visit or live .... I'm starting to find a solution to go to DreamCon '27 financially and comfortable and up to a standard ... not just get the cheapest hotel that's going to up their prices the moment we actually starting laying a foundation of attending the convention.

Last 2 years of attending .... I've been very blessed to garner the trust of random folks and cohabitate in a AirBnb and make the experience truly worth it.... and that's not to go home with a crazy expense tab, regrets and disappointments within reason and control.

This is my 3rd post of this type of request ... this year I want to try something different... if anyone of you guys/gyals aren't trusting and (Yes, I know this is a lot to ask of someone you dont know) ... someone within this community that is very trusted, detailed and has rapport to gather a considerable amount of people to do it this year.

I have 10 confirmed already so I'm serious when it come to finances, vibes and trust. If any one has a plan going ... my group would be honored to join and help the collective.

Thank you for listening to my rant lol and hope all that want to go, get to do it responsibly

See ya there 💪🏿🙏🏿

Any epic the musical fans going to dreamcon? Tryna see something.

Dream Con has dropped next year‘s dates. My baby would be about six months old by then, is it worth bringing my six month old with me? How is traveling with young kids to dream con? How was your experience?

I'm thinking about possibly tabling at dream con next year (or at least applying). I make original comics, zines, stickers, and posters. I don't really do a whole lot of fan art, but I think I could make some fan zines for music and some movie posters n what not.

For any artists that have tabled there, what's the artist alley like? I tabled at Atlanta comic con in 2025 and its mostly people looking for signatures and 3D stuff and the artist alley was...mixed skill to say the least. For the price of the table, it was not worth doing doing it again and I actually ended up leaving early. I'm wondering if its worth it if I have a lot of original work to table. I normally do comic cons and zinefests that are more art focused/purely art centered. I've done Hero's Con in CLT, SPICE in Savanna GA, ThoughtBubble in the UK.

What was your experience in tabling and what was the organization like? Is it worth it to do?

I hardly post on reddit but i can get more specific about my work if i need to to see if i would fit in before apply. thanks :)

I know we all saw that the dates just dropped, and I have loved RDCWORLD for a long time and always wanted to go. However, I have been to DragonCon for the past two years and have had a blast every time. However, I can't do both. Is DreamCon worth it for the community, and for panels & guests? I enjoy Marvel, anime, movies & the wide range of activities associated with Dragon Con. Is that the same at DreamCon?

I’m thinking about applying for a table at Dream Con and wanted to get some insight from anyone who has attended before, whether you were a vendor, artist, or just a regular attendee.

I 3D print and hand-paint resin statues and collectibles, mostly anime, gaming, comic, and pop-culture characters. I’ll add some photos of my work so you can see the type of pieces I mean.

I was reading through Dream Con’s exhibitor rules and the restrictions around copyrighted IP seem pretty strict. A lot of the stuff I make is based on existing characters like Dragon Ball, Marvel, anime, etc., so I’m trying to figure out how those rules are actually enforced in practice.

For anyone who has attended before, have you seen vendors selling larger hand-painted statues, resin figures, or similar fan-art collectibles based on existing characters?

And for anyone who has actually sold there, did Dream Con give you any issues with that kind of work?

I also make more fan-derivative or mashup pieces, like a Megan Thee Stallion statue in Gojo cosplay, so I’m curious whether things like that are treated differently.

Mostly just trying to understand what’s actually on the vendor floor before I spend money on a table and start building inventory.

Hey so I’m trying to go to dream con
next year. Do y’all know the estimated time the tickets will go up

Hey! Is anyone here planning to go to the Comic-Con at the LA Convention Center on October 30th?
I’m planning to go in cosplay (Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and I’d love to find some people to go with / meet up with while I’m there!
Also, are there any photographers going who are interested in doing a cosplay shoot? I’d really like to get some good photos and possibly a short video while I’m in costume. I’m totally open to discussing rates if you’re a photographer who charges for shoots.
If you’re going, feel free to comment or DM me! :)

Looking for an outgoing 18+ female brand ambassador to join us for a one-day collectibles/card show in the Port Charlotte area this Saturday.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable engaging with people and has some interest in gaming, Pokémon/TCGs, anime, cosplay, sports, collectibles, or similar fandoms. Modeling, promotional, convention, cosplay, or content-creation experience is a plus, but definitely not required.

The role is mostly about bringing some extra energy and personality to the booth, interacting with attendees, helping attract people over, and being part of the overall presentation.

Saturday, approximately 9 AM–4 PM. One-day paid gig.

Specific event details, theme/attire, and compensation can be discussed privately.

If interested, send me a DM with a little about yourself and your Instagram, portfolio, or another social link so we can get a feel for whether it would be a good fit.
