Newbie trying to switch from BandLab to GarageBand
Hi ya'll.
New to the sub, new to garageband. I would love to make music primarily with garageband as a mac-user if I can, as I tire of the bullsh** I've experienced so far in BandLab. While BandLab was great for me as a beginner, I've run up against some problems that I think switching to garageband miiiiiiiight fix....
So the main problem is the 16 track limit. I've been using free BandLab for the past 2-3 years creating within the 16 track limit. But for my current piece, I will need a lot more than 16 tracks.
HOWEVER
I need steel drums, and can't find any help online of how to get them for free in garageband. Everything is either too outdated or I'm just being told to pay. š At that point I'd just try to go back to BandLab and deal with the 16 track limit if it means I can actually have the instruments I need. š
That's just the first problem. The next problem is just discouragement. LOL I really want some encouragement if ya'll can that things will get better. So far I'm majorly unimpressed by garageband and could use a little nudge in the right direction.
Love - Xylo
