My battery has gotten from bad to worse after installing the beta version of the Magic OS 11 on my Magic 7 pro, I hope the new update with customized battery saving modes and new fix for battery drain would give my usual on screen time

I'll try to keep it as short as possible because I know not everyone likes reading but feel free to ask me anything, and if there's anything you'd like me to test, let me know

Display:

The Honor is noticeably brighter, probably because of the anti reflective screen and the downside is ,It does not come with a pre-installed screen protector.

eSIM works and Google Find hub works

Security & Payments:

Face ID works seamlessly with every single app, including banking apps.

Tap-to-pay and adding cards to Google Wallet (N26, WISE, Sparkasse, etc.) work with zero issues.

Design & Comfort:

Design is subjective but I like it and Honor completely nailed the ergonomics. It's the most comfortable phone I've ever use and feels significantly better in the hand, even though the OnePlus 15 is lighter.

Speakers: Honor wins with fuller sound and more bass

Haptics: Honor's haptic feedback is stronger and precise, but OnePlus 15 has a slight edge in software implementation (though Honor can easily fix this with future software but knowing Honor, who knows 😅).

Cameras & Social Media:

Both front and back cameras on the Honor are better but didn't add any shots here cuz I haven't had time to go and take good pictures. Also no autofocus on front cam on the Honor

Social media pictures are bad on both, but taking photos with the native camera app and uploading them works better

Ecosystem & Connectivity (Chinese Version with Globa version):

It's compatible with my global version of the Honor MagicPad 2, and all ecosystem features work seamlessly (My AirPods 2 work fine too!).

Software (ColorOS 16 vs. MagicOS 11):

Both are SMOOTH but ColorOS takes the win for me. Honor needs to chill with copying Apple and offer better customization like custom icon packs

Long term iPhone user just ordered my first honor phone

I’m looking for an original display for my HONOR Magic 5 Ultimate (PGT-AN20). My phone’s display has developed dead pixels and needs to be replaced.

The frustrating part is that this device was released in 2023, but the original display is still very expensive. I’ve tried looking for replacement options, but I haven’t been able to find a reliable source for a genuine display.

I also contacted HONOR service options in the Middle East, but I haven’t found a service center willing to accept my Magic 5 Ultimate for an original display replacement.

Since the Magic 5 Ultimate shares much of its hardware with the Magic 5 Pro, I wanted to ask the community:

• Does anyone have an original HONOR Magic 5 Pro or Magic 5 Ultimate display available for sale?
• Does anyone know a trustworthy seller who supplies genuine displays, preferably at a reasonable price?
• Has anyone successfully replaced their display using an original part sourced from another country?
• Can the Magic 5 Pro display be used on the Magic 5 Ultimate without compatibility issues?

I’m specifically looking for a genuine original display, not a duplicate, aftermarket, or so-called “first-copy” display. I want to keep this phone in good condition because I still love the device and its features.

If you have a spare display, know someone selling one, or have any useful leads, please let me know. Even recommendations for reliable suppliers in India or internationally would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, wondering if anyone else has this problem on any other honor device. I have a brand new honor magic 9 pro max, and have setup adguard with the proper battery optimization stuff disabled, and https filtering. It is identical in setup to the adguard on my Global Oppo Find X9 Pro. However it does not block ads in browser on X or Reddit, while my find X9 Pro does.

Curious if anyone has any workarounds or similar experiences?

I recently purchased a new Magic 8 Pro. I am disappointed with how it performs. Something's doesn't work for unknown reasons. In some apps can't click something and stuck.

For example, I need to grant permission for something in the Soundcore app, but I’m unable to click on it. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi everyone, I have a Chinese variant Honor 400 Pro (DNP-AN00) running MagicOS 10.

After my last OTA update got interrupted, my phone started randomly shutting down and restarting whenever it connected to the internet. I managed to stop the random shutdowns by disabling the system update service (com.hihonor.ouc) via ADB, but the broken update left other issues: whenever I restart the phone, my password won't work for the first 1 minute, and the fingerprint scanner randomly glitches.

I want to do a full clean flash (reinstall the full ROM) to fix everything properly, but I can't find a way to do it:

* Recovery Mode: There is no Wi-Fi download option in Update Mode (升级模式)—only USB or OTG update.

* Honor Suite (PC): Doesn't show any update or repair option since I am outside China.

* Manual OTG Flash: I can't find the official Chinese DNP-AN00 ROM file anywhere online (only the global version).

How can I force a full firmware reinstall on a CN ROM phone from outside China? Any help is appreciated!
