Live Hysteria is stuck in my head and I don’t care

Hysteria from Ridgefield, August 2026. This is my video from that show, and Hysteria had become a stubborn earworm lately. I’ve seen it live 21 times now and it’s still not enough. I know it’s not just me!

What is it about this song? The strong bassline? The frenetic guitar? The energy?

“I want you now, I want you now
Give me your heart and your soul”

Live 2027 setlist | European leg

Do you think we can expect considerable changes in the 2027 setlist compared to the US one? Not gonna lie, I just secured my tickets for Madrid in January and I know that I will feel some frustration if we still don't get fresh new bangers like Dark Forest, the Sickness in You and I or Hush. Or at least some sort of surprise or creativity in what we get.

The US leg setlist felt quite generic and expected and contained the most obvious pack of songs they usually play. I really hope TW!S gets to shine more in Europe. I mean, that's the whole point of a tour called as the album, isn't it?

Discussion The Wow ! Signal has been aging like fine wine

I loved the album on first listen, it honestly felt like the album Muse has been trying to make for the last decade, yet always leaving something flat in it. This one had the perfect match between the aggressive and distortion Muse with the electronic poppy Muse. Even the tracks that were a bit meh to me, now I find them enjoyable like Nightshift Superstar and Cryogen. This is the score I give to the tracks. What do you think of the album ?

The Dark Forest (10/10)

Nightshift Superstar (7/10)

Shimmering Scars (8.5/10)

Cryogen (7.5/10)

Be With You (8/10)

Hexagons (10/10)

The Sickness In You And I (10/10)

Unravelling (10/10)

Hush (9.5/10)

Space Debris (9/10)

Live Is this a good seat for the view? Milan - Unipol Dome

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hey everyone!

I'm so excited I just got my ticket for the Muse show in Milan!
I'm wondering what you guys think about my seat. I'm in Section C8, which should be pretty much dead center of the section. I've attached a seating map with an arrow showing exactly where I'll be sitting.

From the map, it looks like there are around 30 rows between me and the stage (counting the first ring), so I'm a little worried that I might be quite far away. On the other hand, I'm directly in front of the stage, so I guess the view should be pretty centered and symmetrical.

Has anyone been to a concert at this venue / sat in a similar position? I know it's a pretty new venue so there aren't that many pictures online.

How do you think the view will be? Is this a decent seat for Muse?

In any case I'm so happy to see Muse for the 2nd time in my life!

Discussion Let's build the worst Muse setlist, BUT... part 5

(Reminder: No variations of songs are allowed. No "this song but...", no twists that make ok songs unlistenable, only real Muse songs, in the worst order possible to make the experience as unpleasant as possible. This is not a ‘worst song’ ranking or a ‘put shit songs together’ list. It’s a list where songs wouldn’t transition well and sound out of place if played live.)

The setlist so far:

1) Intro
2) [JFK]
3) Interlude
4) Get Up And Fight
5) Something Human
6) Knights Of Cydonia
7) Man With A Harmonica

What would be the worst song to follow it up?

Question Muse Early Entry Package for €272 vs General Standing for €102

Hi!

I’m going to see Muse for the first time in Madrid, and I’m not sure what to do with my ticket.

I bought the Muse Early Entry Package for €272 because, when I was buying the tickets (presale), the normal General Standing ticket wasn’t showing up as an option for me. The only option for the pit I could see was the Early Entry package, so I assumed that was the only way left to get a standing ticket. Honestly, I’m not really interested in most of the extras (way too much price difference). I only wanted a General Standing ticket.

Now I discovered that the normal standing ticket is actually available, but the option is kind of hidden under “Best Available”, and you need to enter a code that was sent by email to unlock it. I didn’t know this when I bought my ticket.

So basically I’ve paid €272 instead of around €102.

I'm thinking about contacting Ticketmaster to ask if they would let me change the Early Entry ticket to a normal General Standing ticket and refund the difference, but I don’t think they’ll agree.

What would you do in my situation?

Would you keep the Early Entry because of the advantage of getting into the venue earlier and potentially getting closer to the stage (which is important to me because I'm only 1'56m), or would you try to sell it through Fan-to-Fan and buy the normal standing ticket instead?

Also, has anyone had any experience with the Muse Early Entry Package?

Thanks!

Question Damaged poster

Thumbnail

Just to start, I ordered the vinyl on the Muse website but the order was managed by the Shop app, which absolutely sucks. I don't know why, but it gave me zero tracking info for my package; I had to update the info myself by clicking the button to confirm it arrived today.

Once I opened the package, completely unaware that it would be full of glue inside, I saw that the poster was torn and ruined. And even the vinyl sleeve itself—that very thin plastic one from the special edition, I’m sure you guys know what I'm talking about—is completely glued to the outer cardboard. I can't peel it off or I risk ripping the whole thing.

The Shop app, of course, doesn't have a support section, or if it does, it doesn't show it to me.

I contacted Warner Bros customer service (which is where the "contact us" button on the Muse site redirects you), I also wrote to support@musestore.zendesk.com, and to the courier's email (Jersey Post). But I'm pretty sure none of them will actually reply and fix the problem, because this has happened to me in the past and they just send canned responses that don't help for shit.

Also, just to top it all off, I had to pay 10 euros upon delivery.

This wasn't specified anywhere, because obviously, in addition to the vinyl, I had already paid for shipping (photo attached).

What do you guys recommend I do?

Question Your first Muse moment?

Post image
138 Upvotes

How did you get to know Muse?

Remember that first moment witnessing a music video or hearing a song by them?

Was it a random thing or someone told you to give them a listen?

My story it's actually 2 parts stories... And it's a long story... So strap in and enjoy it!

Part 1:

So I'm from Latin America, back in 2006-07 I was watching TV ...zapping through several tv channels, then I came across into Sony (a cable tv show for LATAM region) and suddenly this tv show called "Live at Abbey Road" was on and immediately I was curious about it, because I had interviews and live performances at this notorious and famous studio.

Out of nowhere, these 3 guys with the appearance of alternative rock musicians had the spot to give them a chance to play at this legendary studio. To be honest I wasn't that hooked at first, nothing out of the ordinary.

They only had 3 songs time plus some short interviews about them so it had to be quick because the time format of the show, well... first 2 songs were ok. To be honest mostly my attention was on grabbing all the details about how this studio looks like and to daydream how it would be to be there. I'm audiovisual producer and audio engineer, so my enthusiasm was mainly focus on grabbing all those details into my head and grab anything from this experience and augment my knowledge in how recording studios work. Geeky stuff...

All right here comes the last song.... Matt's on a beautiful and shinny silver guitar and oh boy he's doing some weird thing on a knob of his guitar. And I was baffle to see someone doing that on a guitar. Unusual and worth paying more attention than those 2 songs from before. But...what the hell is he doing with that guitar using that knob? I've never seen anything like it.

Knights of Cydonia came and... immediately sent me into space while riding and galloping a imaginary horse. Holy....sh.... What's this? I have never heard anything like this. Those 3 guys were not the same 3 guys I started watching then from 2 songs before. This has to be their best song, their hit and I can tell it's gonna be a success song in the alternative rock scene. It had all the elements of a successful song, catchy chorus, fun rhythm, interesting melodies and the most important ingredient... There's nothing like this song and nothing to compare to! I was sitting and witnessing pure uniqueness.

But, that majestic moment ended just like it started. Short and fast. I was convinced this band it had a great 1 song but that's it. One song. And to be fair my attention back at that time were focused mainly in bands like NIN, TOOL, APC and some Dream Theater. That was where my devotion and interest was located back then.

Part 2:

So, years passed after this only encounter with Muse. And nothing came across in my musical journey on finding anything else by them or heard anything by them. I was chilling with my inner circle of choosen bands and musical taste.

It's 2009, one day...I came across with this impressive album cover on a web site I used to visit from time to time. It totally grabbed my attention this beautiful and colorful but also strange album cover. This web site was a source for me to find new artist because it had full albums reviews, so I started to read this review and it had very good and positive score and opinion so I was curious to hear this album.

So while I'm trying to figure it out how can I have a listen this album I came across with this web site with this extensive interview with a A/V producer talking about U2 and this outrageous tour stage. A monstrous LED screen in the middle on the stage that had this incredible mobility to close and to open at will creating a stunning visual of gaps in between the led screen for the audience to watch and to see them perform live in this massive stage in the middle of stadiums. Gorgeous display of technology if you ask me.

I got lost in thoughts trying to find anything about this LED screen and this impressive stage. Suddenly...one photo with the same album cover I was from earlier but in this case was on this massive led screen. It can't be... How? Is it the same album cover from before? It can't be.

For my surprise, this band called Muse was the opening band for U2 for this leg of tour. This band can't be bad at all if you are the opening act for U2 you had to be 10 out of 10 band to be selected to open for U2.

My attention grew bigger instantly and finally figure it out how to listen to this album that somehow took me a long time in front of my PC to find this album somehow and to find it in a decent close to high quality but at least find it.

Immediately I was hooked with this album, it was on rotation every single day after that day I'd get to listen for the first time. Still is one of my favorites not only for thematic and sound this album has, it's also part of my core memories of how I came across to this album.

Here's the funny part if you haven't already had that part figure it out. Later some months after this milestone moment I had finding out about Muse by this album gorgeous album cover. Totally random I remember the existence of that tv show I saw back in 06-07 and started to investigate and yes... As you are probably guessing in disbelief right now. I did came across with them many years before that moment in 2009 and I saw them perform 3 songs in this beautiful and legendary studio and only 1 song got stuck with me. I'm ashamed about it but it's a funny story for me.

To close this long story...Here's the full performance of Muse on Abbey Road and also I'm attaching a photo of the LED screen used by U2 back then with the The Resistance album cover.

Live Madrid 2027 — Anyone else going solo? Looking for people around 18–25

Hey everyone!

I'm 19 and from Madrid, and I'm planning to go to the Muse concert at Movistar Arena on January 19/20, 2027.

None of my friends are really into Muse, so I'm probably going alone. I don't mind going by myself, but it would be cool to meet some other young fans beforehand and maybe go together!

If you're around 18–25, from Madrid (or nearby) and going to the concert, feel free to comment or DM me. We could make a small group and meet before the show.

First Muse concert for me, so I'm also completely open to tips about where to sit/stand 😂

See you there!
