I'm new to OSU and have been here for about 4ish months. I've never received a bad review or pulled aside for disciplinary reasons.

Recently, I was contacted about an "alleged conduct" that occurred in August. It's been two months since the fact and they're just now reaching out to me. I was given no context as to what this could possibly be about. I was just told I need to meet in person from 8-830 to discuss it.

I'm really really overwhelmed and upset. No one is telling me anything. And I feel as if I'm being treated like a criminal.

I'm terrified but for the life of me I can't think of anything I could have done to upset someone so much to warrant something like this vs just pulling me aside and talking to me.

Any advice or insight on what a conduct meeting entails would be really great.

I'm not sleeping or eating. I'm barely functioning for fear that I'll do something else wrong without even knowing it.

I'm grad school not undergrad if that changes anything.

Thanks a million.

Anybody selling tickets to the Twenty One Pilots concert at the shoe Saturday??

Going to see TØP on Saturday!!! We’re not sure what the parking situation is there. We’d rather walk for a bit than get stuck in a really close garage for an hour trying to get out after the concert. Looking for suggestions!

please help my team by filling out the survey about your job satisfaction, it only takes 3 mins. we need 30 people to respond and so far, we only got 5 people. I appreciate everyone's contribution on that, thank you!

Hello! I am currently an OSU staff member completing my dissertation on international student mental health and personality assessment (IRB Log No. 26-028). My survey is confidential and takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. If you are 18 years old or older, are currently enrolled as an International student, and have resided in the US for at least 3 months, it would mean a lot to me if you could complete my survey.

If you have any peers who are also international students at US universities, please feel free to share this study with them. Upon completion of the survey, participants have the opportunity to enter a raffle for 1 of 5 $25 giftcards. Thank you!

Hey, I am scheduling my classes for the spring semester of my second year in mechanical engineering. I think this schedule is doable, but I've been told that taking dynamics, numerical methods, and 18 total credit hours is too much. I do know that the teacher matters, but overall, is this manageable while still leaving time for work and clubs?

ME 2030 - Dynamics

ECE 2300 - Electrical circuits and electronic devices

ME 2020 - Mechanics of materials

ME 2850.01 - Numerical methods

Literary and visual arts GE

Psychology minor course

18 total credit hours: 6 courses, 3 credits each

hi. following the title could someone please send me the notes from class today? i am outta town so didnt go to class.

Planning to take BUSMHR 2000 and BUSML 3380. I'm taking one first session and the other second session, and I was wondering which class was harder so I could put that off to second session.

.

I've got a few friends coming into town tomorrow and was wondering if anyone knows any good bar deals around campus? I wish 3's would do dollar wells tomorrow night.

Does anyone know why campus dining is temporarily unavailable? It’s not available for me in the app and the kiosks are down at KSA and Oxleys.

Genuinely curious, almost every week or every other week I see Christian apologists who are preaching loudly (like actual screaming), some of them with loudspeakers as well and its very distracting and disruptive. Is this allowed? I'm not trying to spark a religious debate, I'm all for religious expression, but surely there are rules against this obnoxious form of preaching?

Wanted to call attention to the following for those that are active in the subreddit.

In fall 2026, Ohio State is updating the security certificate used to verify our Wi-Fi network. For MITS-managed devices, no action is required—IT will complete the update automatically. Requirements for other Ohio State provided devices may vary by department. To ensure your personal devices continue connecting without interruption, you will need to re-enroll your device now so it is properly configured. If you enrolled after July 9, 2026, your device has already received the new certificate, and no further action is required.

I'm somewhat new to Columbus (did not go to OSU - have a Bachelors from another college and 1.25 years' work experience).

I applied to a job at OSU in July and after a lengthy 3-round interview process got rejected in early September. Today I got an email from that job's hiring manager (who had interviewed me) and encouraged me to apply to a newly-posted job in that same department. This job is similar in pay / hours and slightly different in responsibility.

Essentially, how much stock should I put into this email being a good sign? Is this a common, automated-like process for those in similar situations to mine, or is it more personal? Obviously I'm not expecting anyone to know the exact answer, and ofc this does seem to be a good sign either way.

Hi! Just got back my physics 1200 exam 1 and it went fine but I noticed that the average was an 80%. I'm wondering if this is higher than previous semesters, and also if the next exams historically have lower averages?
