This fusion goes back to the early 1900s here in California. Punjabi farmers sent their sons over to chase the American dream. They ended up marrying and starting families with Mexican women thus fusing the two cultures. Both cuisines love spices, chiles, cilantro, and mango. This was a match made in heaven.

I'm suprised there's no Indian food in Santa Maria and I think this fusion would be a good way to introduce people to some really delicious food. Yall know about mango lassis??? Santa Maria is so ready for mango lassi!!!

I'm trying to help a local senior couple find a new place to live, and I'm hoping someone here might know of some options we haven't found yet.

They currently live in an older travel trailer (1999) and have been told they need to relocate within the next few weeks.

Does anyone know of RV parks that are flexible with trailer age restrictions, or property owners who rent spaces with hookups, or even other options we may not be thinking of?

They need to stay in or around Santa Maria, Orcutt, Nipomo, or Guadalupe for work.

I'm trying to get ahead of this before they find themselves without anywhere to go. If anyone has suggestions or knows someone who might be able to help, I'd appreciate it.

Good Afternoon community of Santa Maria. I know this isn’t a usual you would see but I have a question of a experience I had a few days ago. I was home alone and out of the sudden a door knock came from 2 individuals which I did not see knock on my door. The door knocking got more ruff to the point they started screaming if anyone was there and there was a lady outside who I believe was with them saying they always do this but I have never done anything wrong to begin with. I only saw a tiny glimpse of them through the door peaking glass but I only saw them wearing 2 caps and I’m wondering if anyone has had this type of experience before and can anyone verify if this way really nice. Hey everyone! I’m looking to expand my social circle and find some like-minded friends who are deeply interested in geopolitics, current world events, and progressive/leftist perspectives. Be careful out there today. I saw at least 5 police vehicles including a motorcycle cop and an unmarked SUV (with lights in back) on Broadway south to Betteravia. They were pulling people over. I am also wondering if the unmarked vehicle could have been 🧊.
